Client Portal

Interactive Client Proofing & Approval

Keep the proof, pinned comments, revision history, approval statement, and production gate together in the client portal.

Approval Tied to the Correct Artwork Revision

Clients can open a proof inside the portal, zoom and rotate the artwork, switch sides, leave pinned feedback, request changes, or approve. SIGNEXA records the decision and prevents an older approval from being mistaken for approval of a newer artwork revision.

Pinned Client Feedback

Keep comments attached to a clear location on the proof instead of describing changes in a long email thread.

Revision-Safe Approval

Approval is associated with the active artwork revision so changed files require a current decision.

Production Gate

The project shows whether proof approval is complete before the job advances into production.

How it works

From first proof to a revision-safe approval

Three things your clients and your team do on every proof, shown the way they look inside Meet SIGNEXA.

Step 1

Review the artwork in context

Clients open the proof in the portal and zoom, rotate or switch sides to check every detail. The customer and the shop look at the same artwork and the same revision.

  • Zoom, rotate and switch between front and back.
  • The proof shows the artwork exactly as it will be produced.
  • The current revision is always labeled.

Step 2

Leave feedback right on the proof

Click anywhere on the artwork to drop a pin and type the change you want. Comments stay attached to that spot, so nobody has to decode a long email thread.

  • Click the proof to drop a pin where the change belongs.
  • Write the comment and save it to the thread.
  • Resolved comments are marked, so open items stand out.

Step 3

Approve the current revision, and only the current one

Clients approve with a short statement or ask for another revision. If the artwork changes after approval, the old approval no longer applies, so nobody produces from a stale proof.

  • The client records an approval statement for this revision.
  • A changed file needs a fresh decision on the new revision.
  • The project shows when proof approval is complete before production.

Review the Artwork in Context

The portal proof viewer supports zoom, rotation, front/back viewing, pinned discussion, and a visible revision state so the customer and shop are looking at the same thing.

Approve or Request Changes

Customers can provide an approval statement or request another revision. Proof events remain part of the project audit trail and can trigger the next workflow step.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about Interactive Client Proofing & Approval.

Can clients comment directly on the proof?
Yes. Clients can place pinned comments on the proof and keep the revision discussion inside the portal.
What happens when artwork changes after approval?
The workflow invalidates stale approval when the underlying artwork revision changes, requiring the current proof to be reviewed.
Does approval release the job to production?
Proof approval is one of the readiness conditions shown in the project workflow. Other blockers such as missing files, specs, materials, or payment can still prevent release.
